After one miscarriage, six in-vitro fertilization attempts and rounds of acupuncture, Dion, 42, is 14 weeks pregnant with twins and she and hubby Rene Angelil, 68, are over the moon.
"I feel like I've been pregnant more than a year," Dion told Le Journal de Montreal. "I never gave up. But I can tell you that it was physically and emotionally exhausting… It's stressful but I'm relaxing. I look at my little belly. I do almost nothing. If you tell me I have to stay in bed, I will stay in bed until November, when the babies are born. To bring them into the world, there's nothing more important than that. It's incredible."
The five-time Grammy winner, who is from a large family herself, was quite open about the effort it took for her to conceive her first son, Rene-Charles, now 9. She has been equally open about her desire to have more children, if possible.
Then, last summer, after news of her pregnancy hit the media circuit, Celine Dion decided to come clean and share her excitement. That backfired, however, when she lost the baby and her miscarriage became front page news.
As many of us know, most moms-to-be wait three months, which is why celebs often deny baby rumors, but it's not easy when the media is always watching.

Though crushed by the loss, Dion went on Oprah a few months later and shared her experience and her refusal to give up.
"It's life. You know?" Celine Dion said, "A lot of people go through this, but it's not being told because it's not in the newspaper."
Dion's perseverance is paying off. Word is the expectant parents will learn the sex of their twins next month.
SheKnows sends Dion and Angelil congrats and best of luck in the coming months.
